You MUST separately flash the latest SuperSU.zip from @Chainfire available at http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu after flashing the ROM if you want to be rooted. Additionally, this flashes the new bootloader because this ROM won't boot with the old 4.2.2 bootloader, so once you exit custom recovery after flashing this, SuperSU and anything else you want, you won't be able to boot back into custom recovery without first temporarily re-flashing the 4.2.2 bootloader (aboot.img) by following the directions in the VK810.4G 4.2.2 aboot.img & instructions.7z file also available to download in this section.
