This will improve the performance and stability of the system (also has some theoretical basis), which could be widely used in most roms, even in MIUI. ✅ Highlights: ———————— Enable ZRAM with new "ZSTD" algorithm to improve the user experience on devices with 2GB ram. Fix the issue that caused "deep sleep" stop working after turning on WLAN. Fix the issue that resulted in a blank charging screen after power off. ✅ Main changes: ———————— Android Security Patch level: 12/5/2019; Decrease default GPU power level to 7 (64 MHz) to improve power saving; Disable debug mode in GPS profiles; Fix some wrong values for drm HAL (OMX); Kernel improvements: └ Add a new EAS scheduler "Schedutil" (only for test, the original "sched" still has better performance for now); └ Backport some upstream changes to ZRAM; └ Decrease the "THROTTLE_UP" time to make the CPU scheduler more sensitive; └ Disable some other debug features to improve performance; └ Implement new "ZSTD" crypto API (including dependencies) and fix the legacy "LZ4" crypto API; └ Performance and stability improvements for cpufreq/fair/sched; └ Some other performance and stability improvements; Mount "cust" partition (contains 310MB free space) to "/cust" by default; Optimize read ahead values (2048KB → 1024KB); Optimize the "pin list" of pinner service; Regenerate and add missing sepolicy; Remove some other useless modules and directories in "/data" automatically; Remove unused configs from thermal control profiles; Use build variables instead of absolute path for vendor files. ⚠ Bugs and temporary solutions: ———————— If you don't want to use ZRAM, it could be disabled by deleting "swapon_all /vendor/etc/fstab.qcom" (line 108) in "/system/vendor/etc/init/hw/init.target.rc". To make sure "deep sleep" works properly and improve the performance of WLAN, do not enable "WLAN scanning" in "Location" settings! ⛔ Known issues: ———————— VOLTE (no IMS stuff from Qualcomm, won't fix).
