Note: This is for the HTC Desire 530 released in 2016, *NOT* the original HTC Desire from 2010. The correct category was not yet available. This zip file needs to first be uncompressed either with an app, or on a computer then transferred to your phone's SD card. *--Do not flash the zip file directly--* TWRP recovery has an option to flash image files, use it to flash both the boot.img and system.img files contained in the zip. I recommend doing a full backup with TWRP before starting, then formatting the data and system partitions, then flashing the images. This firmware is for the MetroPCS variant of the Desire 530. It's fully compatible with the T-Mobile variant: band 12, VoLTE, Wifi calling, RCS messaging all work. The only exception is the Device Unlock app for Metro will not SIM unlock a Tmo phone, even if it otherwise qualifies.
